SneakerBall is the only black tie and sneakers gala that annually celebrates the best of sports in the Greater Washington D.C. region. The event is organized to recognize the Greater Washington Sports Collaborative, the non profit foundation of the Sports Alliance that uses the philanthropic generosity of individual and corporate donors to make strategic investments in emerging non profits that use sports to enhance a child’s life. At SneakerBall, you will not only eat and drink at the same table as local professional athletes and Olympians, enjoy ESPY style awards ceremony hosted by Lindsay Czarniak and Steve Buckhantz, and have a blast while wearing sneakers at a black-tie affair; but YOUR SPONSORSHIP is an investment in children throughout the Washington, D.C. region.

Following your red carpet entrance, the evening starts off with a silent charity auction, where you will bid on items such as priceless sports memorabilia, golf outings, exotic travel packages, and much more! After enjoying drinks during a cocktail hour in your stylish sneakers, you will enjoy an amazing dinner while sitting at the same table with some of the Washington area’s most prominent professional athletes and Olympians. An ESPY style award ceremony will follow and you will watch as the awards, which were voted on by the public, are presented to that year’s winners. Past award winners include sporting legends such as Gary Williams, Dominique Dawes, Brian Mitchell, Art Monk, and Alexander Ovechkin, and exemplary community leaders such as Eunice Kennedy Shriver and Joe Robert.
